Last Call
Copyright 2006:  Time For Change

Monday night was a tough crowd and Tuesday was just too loud
And on Wednesday night I swear to you that I could do no wrong
But Thursday I knew why I was still singin' in a barroom
And when the weekend came we all felt no pain
But that's just my life

I'm just singing what I've been feeling
Having the time of my life each night of my life, but I've been better
If the show never ends and the curtain never falls
Just let me sing all my life and die before the last call for alcohol

Monday night I got drunk and Tuesday when I sobered up
I sang and played my fool heart out for a lousy twenty bucks
And for the next two nights I stood proud in the spotlights
And when the weekend arrived they ate us alive
And that's what makes it all worth while

Chorus

Living in the moments surround by my dreams
And I'm so thankful you're here listening to me
As I live my life
