Hand Built Guitars
By the Leftoverking
Another shot of the "pine shelving" archtop guitar.  Note the dog-bone shaped f-holes.
The headstock of the pine shelving archtop has a flamed maple overlay with a macassar ebony inlay.
Here are some pictures of my past projects. I especially enjoy the challange of using recycled, and unconventional materials in my guitars.  This sometimes adds dificulty to a project, but I feel the extra effort is worth it  It helps save a piece of the rainforest, and makes for a unique instrument.
Here is an archtop guitar I built using a piece of pine shelving for the top.  It has maple backs and sides, featuring  recycled Honduran rosewood for the binding and details.
