AoF was created in the ancient time of Mplayer. At first, it was a quite serious infastructure, with lots of ranks. There is not very much left of the clan in these days. Now it is just a bunch of people sharing a forum. Tough, their members still should be respected, they control great power. The clan is preparing for a comeback when NWN comes out.
The clan doesn't really have any leader, tough Shikton may be a choice if there would be any. Shikton controls the website.
AoF was founded by the old members of BWC. Those two members where BWC Frostangel and BWC Slowrider. Back in the Mplayer days, when BWC ruled most of the other clans but it began too turn on itself. So those two members got sick of what was going on and left too form AoF. Soon after BWC started too insult the new AoF, AoF being above them didnt respond too their insultsand instead moved on with their own bussiness. AoF proressed and gained more members quickly, they became attracted too the way AoF worked. AoF didnt rely on obedience or leadership but on friendship. AoF has never had a leader and still runs the clan as a group of United friends. AoF stood strong while BWC crumbled from the problems they suffered caused by their leader. However after BWC fell there was a great depression among the clans of mplayer. Clans fell and clans rose, there was chaos everywhere. AoF was not unaffected and went into a deep slumber. The members of AoF shared their expertise with other clans but really longed for AoF. After some time Shikton and friends decided too awaken AoF. The forums opened and the site started being updated. It had awakened, the old AoF was a caterpillar, the new AoF was a butterfly. The new AoF had a complete makeover. Many rules where made but eventually they found out that they worked better as a group of friends. AoF scrapped all politics because they didnt need them anymore. |
