This song is a cover of a Lucksta track. It is a song about been imature (and also as Gerbil Bob, it has become a bit of a micky take out of those who criticised us for our lack of original songs - we write a stupid and simple song, and people love it!) and has become a bit of a cult classic! We weren't intending to play it at our gigs, but then people actually began to shout out its name! We eventually played it and we got a standing ovation. It was tremendous! Bum Bum Willy Willy Poo Poo has been downloaded absolutely loads of times from people living in everywhere from Manchester to Ireland to Australia!! Henry has descibed it as Gerbil Bob's "Teen Spirit" because of the amount of times they have played it! The words were written by (and copyright (c) 2000/2001!) Henry and the music was written by (and is also copyright (c) 2000/2001!) Lee and Henry. Ste sings this song, using a different silly voice -anything from "Mexican" to "Cockney" to "Ozzie"- for every verse. This song has been covered by a few local bands including the truly awful Obsidian Machina, who sadly split up! It has also been covered by Too Much Ruth and Ivor!! This makes us proud to be honest, how many other local bands have had there songs covered by other local bands!?
