Director Fances Ford Coppola is making a remake of the 1983 movie The Outsiders, in which Leif played Bob Sheldon. Coppola wanted to make this movie a bit more true to the original story, written by S. E. Hinton. The beginning will be a little different among other things. The movie will be shown for a limited time in theater beginning September 2005, then it will be available for sale. This movie is highly known for it's then future stars, including Tom Cruise, Diane Lane, Matt Dillon, Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Ralph Macchio, Emilio Estevez, and C. Thomas Howell.

Leif will appear in a long awaited episode of Fear Factor on NBC television. He will be competing with G Gordon Liddy, Traci Bingham, John Melendez, Tempestt Bledsoe, Todd Bridges and Brande Rodrick. They are going to be playing for 50k and doing some of the most outrageous stunts Fear Factor's team has ever devised.
