Acts 12:4 has a mistranslation in the King James Bible. 'Pascha' in the Greek text is translated into Easter instead of Passover. This mistranslation of Passover is only one time, in the King James, and here in Acts.
Pascha in the Greek, or Pecach from Pacach in the Chaldee is the Passover, the meal, the day, the festival, or the special sacrifice connected with it. Pecach, a pretermission, i.e. exemption, used only of the Jewish Passover, the festival or the victim, Passover offering. Pacach, a primitive root, to hop, i.e. figuratively to skip over, or spare, by implication to hesitate, pass over. See Ex 11:1-14:31 where Passover started and 1 Cor 5:7-8 declaring that Jesus is our Passover. If we believe of course, upon Him, not otherwise.
Easter is a heathen term derived from the Saxon goddess Eastre, the same as Astarte, the Syrian Venus, called Ashtoreth in the Old Testament, which has to do with fertility rites and sexual orgies in the woods, and therefore are eggs, rabbits and quick like a bunny associated with it. It is the special evil of the Canaanite nations. The name is derived from the Asherah. The Asherah was idolatry of the most revolting form of immorality under the guise of religion. All virtue surrendered. 'The going of whoring' is more than a figure of speech. Asherah, is the Phallus image of Is 57:8 and 'the image of the male,' Ez 16:17. I can tell more about it, but I suggest you to make your own study on the subject.
Places to study in the Bible could be 1 Ki 11:5, 33, 2 Ki 23:13, cp. Judg 2:13, 1 Sam 7:3, 12:10, 31:10, Deut 1:4, Josh 9:10, 12:4, 13:12, 31, Judg 10:6, 1 Sam 7:4.
Easter ought to have nothing to do with, or be mixed with, Passover used from Ex 12:11 to Heb 11:28 in the correct way in the King James Bible, 77 times except one, Acts 12:4.
So, dear churches of the world, sharpen up and know what you are doing when you celebrate Passover and call it Easter.
Some newer translations, or variations, of the Bible have corrected this mistranslation, for example The Amplified Bible, and have the correct word Passover instead of Easter. Some Bibles in other languages, for example the Swedish Bible, have the correct translation, but Swedish people still eat and paint eggs at Passover. The Swedish Bible uses the word 'Pask' which is very close to the Greek word Pascha, as you can see. It is certainly not Easter.
The French Bible has 'Paque', which is also close to Pascha. The German Bible just says 'Fest' of the people, which means Festival, as you most likely can see for yourself.
Whoever put Easter into the King James Bible must have been a 'false' scribe (may be a Kenite) who wanted to confuse the church, and he succeeded very well, for most English speaking churches in the world wrongly use the word Easter instead of Passover, which naturally is an abomination before God, mixing sexual orgies with the celebration of Christ’s death and resurrection. Most likely was this scribe a Kenite. So, you see the Kenites are still in the religious sector to try to confuse people just like their father, Satan, does.
Further more you can see what God thinks about this in Ez 8:
6 He said furthermore unto me, 'Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abomination that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from My sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations.'
The house of Israel is of course the ten northern tribes that were scattered, the Western Christian nations.
7 And He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
8 Then said He unto me, 'Son of man, dig now in the wall:' and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
They hide their abominations, and there are so many that there is even a door into the hiding place,
9 And He said unto me, 'Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.'
10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, pourtrayed upon the wall round about.
11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah, the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
'The ancients' is the priesthood. Jaazaniah means 'heard from YHVH' = a priesthood that says, yes even thinks, it heard from God, but it is not from God at all. There are lots of them around in church today. Shaphan is the 'Easter rabbit.'
12 Then said He unto me, 'Son of man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, 'The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth.'
13 He said also unto me, 'Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations that they do.'
14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the Lord's house which was toward the north; and behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
Tammuz is 'the Easter egg queen, the sprout of life in the sexual orgies.'
We also see that they, with the abominations, are approaching even the north, where God's throne is, Ez 8:3-5, 40:46, 42:13-14, 44:4, 46:19, 47:17. Satan likes that place, Is 14:13 ................I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Satan is as Antichrist, which means "instead of Christ", going to sit there claiming he is Christ for 2.5 months just prior to Christ's return, Rev 12:7-9, 2 Thess 2:3-4.
