Hi!

Some great places to stop by!!

Want to visit the hat capital of the United States? Then check out the city of Danbury, Connecticut! Danbury is home to the biggest high school in the state, and it's where I met Megan, a student at the University of Rochester, and Naomi, who attends the University of Connecticut

Traveling has gotta be one of the best activities in the world! One of my personal favorites is Disney World ! Heck, I'm still a kid at heart. However, I'm also partial to cruising. For spring break a few years back, we went on the Fascination, and it was absolutely incredible! My friend Jon also partook in this journey!

Summer 2000, I did lots of really great things: I spent three days selling placemats for The Straight Edge at the Jacob Javits Center. I loved it! After spending a few weeks acting as a nanny, I became a resident assistant as well as a teaching assistant for Barnard's Pre-College Program. I lived with eleven of the most wonderful high school students in the world, and now you can visit Anne's, Samantha's, Sarah's, Chrissy's, and Lindsay's pages. The highlight of my summer, though, was my two-week vacation to Japan! We flew via Northwest Airlines, a fun airline! (Sorry, Delta!) Anyway, in Japan, I saw Mount Fuji , ate lots of soba noodles, and rode the bullet train around. In addition, I met some very interesting gaijin (foreigners, specifically Caucasians), including Alden, who was travelling around the world with her father. Well, it was the best summer of my life!

During Columbia's Fall Break, from November 2-7, I decided once again to hop an airplane, this time heading to Ireland for the weekend! My boyfriend was at the time studying in Dublin, so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit him, especially after having as lousy a semester as I had had--coming down with mono among other things. Anyway, it was my first time in Europe, and British Airways absolutely rules! Okay, so I flew on Virgin Atlantic to become a student last year at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London and I really can't wait for that either!!!

The greatest college in the world can be found in the great city of NEW YORK! Barnard College is one Seven Sisters college that was founded in 1896 and now is on Broadway across the street from Columbia College. A women's only, liberal-arts college that is one of five undergrad schools at Columbia University, Barnard is a fantastic place! Make sure you check out our campus life!

Barnard has some really great people to call students, including Larissa and Clare. There are also lots of great activities, including swing dance classes, CU Figure skating Club, and being Orientation Sponsors for the Class of 2003. If you get a chance, you can check out my major at the EALAC webpage.

Then, of course, there's New York! Broadway rocks, and some of the best plays currently on include Les Miserables, Miss Saigon, and Chicago. The museums are great, too, and I'm particularly partially to the Met! My boyfriend has gotten me interested in baseball, so all I have to say is: GO YANKEES! Okay, okay. I'll admit that I'm a Red Sox fan, too!

Recently I've stumbled upon some really crazy and interesting sites on the web, and they deserve some credit for their ingenuity! One of my internet buddies, Shaz, has just started a web page, and her efforts should be applauded! You can see the page of a girl I babsit as well. If you're into dancing, go to a dance world or check out the hamsters at www.hamsterdance.com! Another really great site that's full of magic can be found at a teacher's website? Anyway, have fun and see you later!
