LTHL Stiga U.S. Open Announcement
The 2005 Lemont Table Hockey League Stiga U.S. Open will be held on Saturday, July 30, at the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont, IL, about 30 minutes southwest of Chicago. Our sponsor this year is Phil Hamilton, who owns tablehockeygames.com, your source for Stiga games, teams and parts.
The tournament will be played with International-style Stiga men taped down so they don't rise. Complete with suplak puck catchers so the pucks don't hit the floor and they're easy to retrieve. Games mostly will be mounted on banquet tables at the now-standard 32.5" inches from center rod to floor. Trophies and medals for all divisions and prize money TBD based on the number of entries. Tournament will start at 10 a.m. sharp, with playoff rounds for the A, B, and C pools. Everyone is guaranteed at least one playoff series --- how many more you get after that is up to you.
