Avalokiteshvara (Tibetan: Chenrezi)

Is the Bodhisattva of supreme compassion. He is shown in this print in a standing posture symbolizing his willingness to travel to all the realms of the universe in his quest to deliver beings from suffering. His right hand, in the gesture of supreme generosity, holds the crystal rosary which betokens the tirelessness of compassion. His left hand holds a lotus which signifies the purity of compassion.
