Homework:
Review DOS commands listed in Chapter 3, p. 102-116.
DIR, DEL, DISKCOPY, COPY, XCOPY, DELTREE, CHDIR (CD), RMDIR (RD), ATTRIB, PATH, SYS
CHKDSK (W2K) or ScanDisk (W9.x), Scanreg (W9.x), DEFRAG, VER, DEBUG, EDIT, FDISK, FORMAT
Many of these commands are available if you boot from a Windows 98 startup disk, so you can run them on your computers at home from the Ram drive (virtual drive) that the startup disk creates. . (Scandisk, ScanReg, Defrag, Format, and Fdisk are version specific and require MS-DOS 6.22 or Windows 9.x )
(The following commands mentioned in Chapter 3 are not supported in Windows 9.x or Windows 2000/XP and are not relevant: UNDELETE, UNFORMAT, RECOVER)
