Coming from a big family, being the 3rd of 6 siblings (4 boys and 2 girls), I could say I had the most wonderful childhood memories, so full of fun and excitement that I will always cherish. They were beautiful because the 2 people I admire most made them beautiful, my mom and dad, who have always been there for all of us, in joy, in sorrow and even in the most difficult times in our lives. We may never had all the toys that we had always wanted to have, but we always had and still have all the love and support from our loving parents.
I am from Manila, Philippines and graduated Bachelor of Science Major in Psychology in 1988 at Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Intramuros Manila Philippines.
Soon after college graduation, I went to work for DHL Philippines Corporation as a Sales & Customer Service Coordinator. Wanting to try new things, I have decided to move to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in November 1989 and worked as an Executive Secretary for the Purchasing & Research Senior Manager of the Dubai Duty Free at the Dubai International Airport. I eventually realized that I could do bigger and better things. In May 1993, I have decided to shift to another job and work for Michel Chalhoub Group of Companies. I have worked for the Group's own advertising company called EuroRSCG Promopub for 9 & 1/2 years as Media Buyer, then moved and worked for Traveller Limited (still in the same Group) as Executive Assistant to the GM. We supply all the Duty Free items/in-flight sales, amenities and uniforms on-board the regional airlines in the Middle East such as Emirates Airlines, Etihad Airways, Kuwait Airways, Saudia Arabian Airlines, Qatar Airways, Middle East Airlines, Gulf Air, Oman Air among others.
I have enjoyed and prospered working with everybody at Chalhoub Group. Indeed I have gained a lot of knowledge and expertise and most of all I have made a lot of friends. And I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all their support, encouragement and friendship that have made my career at Chalhoub Group very rewarding and enjoyable that I will always cherish. Recent events in my life had me relocated to the United States. I got married last September 2007 to Dan Carman and now starting a new family, a new life.
I have a 14-year old beautiful daughter from a previous relationship. My daughter, Thereze Laure, is currently enrolled as a 1st year High School student at Torrance High School in Torrance City CA.
