Images Taken April 9, 2006
Taken 5/19/2006, this photo shows roughly the same area as the photo to the left.  Notice how the surface features of Jupiter's atmosphere change over a relatively short period of time.
The Great Red Spot is visible near the center of the planet.  Jupiter's largest moon, Ganymede can be faintly seen to the lower left of the planet.
This photo was taken about an hour earlier than the picture on the right.  Jupiter makes a full rotation in under 10 hours so surface feature movement can be easily observed over a relatively short period of time.
