Anguilla was represented at the just completed CARIFTA Games held in Trinidad and Tobago by Khalid Brooks, Shara Proctor, Curlee Gumbs and Coach Wilma Proctor. CARIFTA Games are the premier track and field championships for young athletes in the Caribbean. They were held at the Haseley Grant Stadium in Port of Spain from 19th - 22nd April.

Khalid Brooks and Curlee Gumbs also competed in the games and recorded their personal best in both the 100 meters and 200 meters. While they did not win any medals they would have benefited from participating in the highly competitive events |
