Like Terra, Celes was an imperial general. And like Terra, she can use magic naturally. This is not because of the same reason as Terra's, it's because when she was young she was experimented on by the empire.
At one time, Celes was a General of the evil army. She has since been disillusioned by the army and has decided to join the resistance. She has command over Runic Blade which absorbs enemy spells. |

Personal Opinion: Celes is on a lot of people's regular party, which really surprised me. Her runic ability did help me when I HAD to use her, but otherwise, she was at the end of the party roster. |
