Dias is from Arlia, the same town Rena grew up in. Rena was best friends with Dias' little sister Cecille, and so Dias thought of Rena as a little sister also. Dias' family was murdered by bandits two years ago and so he left Arlia alone. Dias goes from fight to fight and by coincidence he keeps on meeting up with Claude and Rena. Dias is a serious fighter and his attitude comes off as being cold and heartless. He first met up with them at the town of Mars where he and Rena alone saved the kidnapped children. He then wanted to do battle with Claude, and did so at the Lacour Tournament of Arms, where he knocked Claude out.
Dias is a tall, longhaired, expressionless fighting man. His eyes constantly sparkle with a cold light. He has perfected his own original combat style by combining sword-fighting and karate techniques.

Personal Opinion: Dias is a good fighter but I didn't use him much because I already had a steady party once I got him. His accuracy is quite lame since the timing of his swing is a little slow. He also looks dumb when running. Otherwise a good character to use.
