Pz Kpfw VI TigerII

This awesome machine with 8 inch thick frontal armor, a 90mm gun and weighing over 60 tons was the master of any battle field on which it was employed. Impervious to frontal assault by Shermans or any allied tank, the only way to knock out the 'King Tiger' was to hit it from the rear. Tank busting allied aircraft also had some success against the weak upper deck armor. It's main weakness was a very slow speed, but by the time this tank was deployed Germany was mainly fighting in a defensive role anyway. Germany could ill afford the fuel that this monster gobbled up, so most Pz Kpfw were used in static 'dug in' positions and had to be knocked out with flame throwers or some other close quarter weapon.
