'Spitbomber'

Some Spitfires were modified as 'Spitbombers' for service in the Western Desert. This MK Vb is equipped with a 20mm cannon plus two .303 machine guns in each wing, and has a pair of 250lb bombs that were fitted in the field. Note: The ugly under-nose tropical air filter has been removed on this aircraft.
