Black haired,muscular, and handsome, television and film actor Dean is perhaps most famous for playin on the hit tv show Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman. His interesting looks come from his Welsh,French and Japanese heritage,While his last name comes from his Stepfather, director Christopher Cain. Deans mother moved him and his older brother to La when they were children. He attended Santa Monica High school, where he rubbed shoulders with other younge star-to -be, includeing the Lowe brothers,The Penn brothers, and Emilio Estevez.. He was and honor student and a very talented football player. Dean attended Princeton University where ,as a first string football player, he set 2 N.C.A.A records. He graduated in 1988 with a B.A. in history and a contract as a Free safety for the Buffalo Bills.In pre-season practice a knee injury ended his football career.He returned to Cali and studied acting and got his professional start appearing in numerous televion commercials and tv parts(notably,"Beverly Hills 90210") before landing his break through role on " Lois and Clark:The New Adventures of Superman" (1993)
