Oddball (originally called Pancake), have returned after a number of years absence choosing a new name which we believe better represents the current mental capacity of the band members. 9 out of 10 of our therapists agree.

Described as “an oddball bunch of recordings” by our engineer, the self released demo CD entitled “pancake” is a bit of a mixed bag, from the instrumental opener ‘Soggy’ to the epic 22 seconds of the closing ‘Beauty sleep’. Sandwiched in-between one can find pop, indie rock, blues, punk & flamenco tinged country.
The Oddball experience encompasses the good, the bad, and the ugly, but enough about the band, let’s talk music. Our almost theatrical live show, which encourages audience participation by feeding pancakes to gain trust, sees band members asking, teasing and even bullying the audience to choose songs from a board, answer trivia questions or our personal favourite, make fools of themselves for prizes.
Ugly & loud, or soft & sentimental, the oddball experience is never dull.
