| Song Information: "Space Song". The song apparently originates from around April 2003 when Chrys demonstrated to a friend that anyone can play guitar by making a song up on the spot with invented chords. It sounded reasonably good to his untrained ear, and he put these original lyrics to it. The theatre featured on the artwork is the Bouffes du Nord in Paris, a semi-derelict theatre space used by the director Peter Brook. From interview: "It's about understanding things differently, and a realistic look at the kind of world we're gradually building." "No, it's not supposed to make you sick. It will only make you sick if the concept of most of what is now land being underwater because of human activity, makes you sick." "The line "Where once were fields now only water" was stolen from a song called "The Tidal Wave" by Gorky's Zygotic Mynci. I hope they don't mind. If they do, I will change it." |
