Short: play & decode AD lib mod files. Author: Simon Peter, 68k compile by uploader Uploader: lorylombus@gmail.com (Lorence Lombardo) Type: mus/play Version: 1.7 Architecture: m68k-amigaos [5th upload] The "-r" switch is now automatically activated. Fixed reported error during play. Rebuilt with libao/PAS. Improved display performance. Added Ctrl-C message so display is not trashed. Fixed 8bit option when in play. Added frequency limiting. [4th upload] Narrowed the "-r" switch output again as it was still sometimes too wide for the display. [3rd upload] Added the "-t" switch to save the duration as the global environment variable "POtemp". [2nd upload] Modified adplay to be more suitable for future use as a decoder with playOGG. In doing so it has also improved adplay's use independently. Added the ms_length to the display. Added the "-I" info switch. Made the "-r" switch output suitable to a 640 width console with an 8 width font. Updated this readme. ;) Play an AD lib mod file:- adplay -o fmavn63b.dmo Decode an AD lib mod file to a WAV:- adplay -o -O disk -d ram:test.wav fmavn63b.dmo Obtain AD lib mod file information:- adplay -I -O null fmavn63b.dmo Known issues:- The NoFPU build will crash on "ROM2.0" on my test system but was fine on "OS3.1" with "ROM3.0". (Help on improving this is welcome.) This has been tested under a minimum shell stack of 500000 bytes only. DiskMaster configuration suggestion:- AddMenu SND2, ADplay, StdIO "CON:0/12/640/140/ ADplay";extern stack 500000 \sys:sound/adplay -o %s;StdIO CLOSE Feeling bored ? :) Why not check out this URL ? http://geocities.ws/lorylomb/
