Short: Play & convert various mod formats. Uploader: lorylombus@gmail.com (Lorence Lombardo) Author: See AUTHORS, 68k compile by uploader Type: mus/play Version: 3.2.6 Architecture: m68k-amigaos This MikMod comes in two main builds. The first MikMod has been built with SDL/pdcurses and actually has SDL code in it for that little bit of extra polish and so that the "W" key will toggle between windowed and fullscreen. Pixel dimensions can be altered with the -W (width) and -H (height) arguments. The -P argument will start MikMod in private screen (ie. fullscreen) mode. The -R option will round the window pixel dimensions to the default font dimensions. Warning...!!! Misuse of the dimension arguments can cause screen corruption. The second MikMod is built with ncurses and SDL is used only for the audio output. The second MikMod build works with or without RTG and is compatible with Fr3dY's amiga-f color terminfo settings file. If necessary the interface of this build is refreshed with the [Enter] key. See the following URL for SDL requirements:- http://aminet.net/package/dev/misc/SDL-Amiga Quick start:- To play via SDL/AHI:- mikmod mod.MaxDream-xtc Save to AIFF:- mikmod -p 0 -d 3 mod.MaxDream-xtc Save to WAV:- mikmod -p 0 -d 2 mod.MaxDream-xtc Save to RAW:- mikmod -p 0 -d 4 mod.MaxDream-xtc Type "mm_demo" or "execute mm_demo" without the quotes whilst in the "mikmod_sdl" directory for a larger than usual full screen demonstration. DM_mikmod shows how you can easily add XFD support to mikmod. Type "mmnc_demo" or "execute mmnc_demo" without the quotes whilst in the "mikmod_sdl" directory for a demonstration of the ncurses build.
