Nano is an ncurses based multi platform text editor.


This program has been converted to SDL/pdcurses.

Quick start:-

Whilst in the "nano" directory type "nano_demo".

If that did not work then type "execute nano_demo" without the quotes.

Repeat the process for "nano_demo2".


DiskMaster v2.5.30a configuration suggestion:-

AddMenu TEXT, Nano, extern stack 500000 \set PDC_FSCRN 1 \set PDC_COLS 98 \set PDC_LINES 36 \set HOME /PROGDIR \sdh1:nano/nano -S -c %s

NB:  I have used "color.c" from "2.4.1" for stability reasons.


Also a slang version has been compiled with the following:-

./configure "CC=gcc -m68020" --with-slang

This requires you to provide a suitable environment.

Type "nano_demo3" in accordance with the "Quick start" if you wish.

See "mikmod326_sdl.lha" for more environmental ideas.


A stack of 500000 was the lowest tested for this package.
