This package copies loads of temporary files in your T: assign and ENV:. After doing so this package cleans up after itself and is to my personal satisfaction. But if you have concerns then it is recommended that you examine the open script components of this package for yourself before using this package and if you decide to use this package you do so at your own risk. pdf2pic_gs v1.1 (C) 2017 Lorence Lombardo. Requirements:- A fast CPU, a reasonable amount of RAM and some patience. :) Also a correct installation of "GhostScript 8.60" is required and is available from here:- http://aminet.net/package/text/dtp/gs860_68020fpu http://aminet.net/package/text/dtp/gs860_core http://aminet.net/package/text/dtp/gs860_fonts No guarantee can be given that future GhostScript versions will be compatible. What the @#$% is pdf2pic_gs ? pdf2pic_gs allows you to view PDF's in your favourite browser and was based on "pdf2pic v1.3" but instead uses different components. It also allows you to save the document as a single picture with your browser, provided you have sufficient RAM and your browser allows you to do so. Make sure that your browser path is correctly set in the 22nd line of the "PDF_read" script if you dont have "OPENURL" installed. To configure pdf2pic_gs to your directory utility see the "DM_PDFread" script. It is not recommended to use the "ALL" link in the index if you dont have sufficient RAM or a browser limitation. If you wish to bypass the index and view all the pages straight away then simply replace all occurrences of "t:pdf.html" to "t:pdf_all.html" in the "PDF_read" script. Additional documentation can be found in the "doc" directory of this package. NB: The current version of the "pdf2pic.exe" uses threading in order to provide progress indication and superior control. But if you prefer without threading the previous "pdf2pic.exe" can replace the current which is available in the "previous" directory. web page:- http://geocities.ws/lorylomb/
