I am another Austin Native and I was on the Uncle Jay show when I was 7 years old.I yanked Packer Jack's beard so hard he called me a little shit! My claim to fame!All of these yankees in Austin would not believe the stories about the old Austin. The Armadillo, The Night Hawk, The Stallion Restaurant, Dart Bowl(I'm from North Austin, the Crestview neighborhood-Burnet road and Anderson Lane)the best Migas in the world. The days when Hippie Hollow was a straight place.The old Skyline Club and every saturday night my parents would drive out on South Lamar to the Broken Spoke to dance and I just hung around the stage. I miss it all and nobody would understand any of this. Cactus Pryor and Jake Pickle(I still have the pickle pin that he gave me when I was 10!)Arley Duff at KOKE and I still have my goat roper bumper sticker from KOKE!!! Thanks for writing good stuff man.
