New Zealand Cricket medical co-ordinator Warren Frost said two members
of the TelstraClear Black Caps, Lou Vincent and Kyle Mills, were injured
today (Friday) during practice at Benoni.
"Lou Vincent dislocated his left thumb during fielding practice and
was taken to a hand specialist who has reduced the dislocation,"
Frost said.
"He should make a full recovery in five to ten days."
Frost also said Kyle Mills had injured his left hamstring during fielding
practice.
"Kyle has strained his hamstring while diving full stretch to field
a ball.
We will be able to give a clearer diagnosis as to how severe the strain
is in the next 24-36 hours."
The TelstraClear Black Caps management team has not called for any replacement
players at this stage.
