The William Albert Robbennolt Family
Albert was born at Titusville, PA., Oct. 10, 1862, and came to Troy Mills, Iowa then moved to Denison, Iowa. He married Elizabeth Keller Dec. 30, 1882 at Marion, Iowa. They lived at Troy Mills, Iowa on the Sagre Wilde farm where they both worked for Mr. Wilde. They moved from Denison to Delmont, South Dakota and arrived there the April 22, 1892, to a farm 2 1/2 miles east and 1 mile north of Delmont (via covered wagon). They filed on a homested in Charles Mix County in May 1895, 6 miles south of Delmont. William Albert was the son of George Robbennolt and his first wife, Arabella Smith.

Charles Nicholas Robbennolt (Stub) Nick, as he was known, was handicapped at birth. He managed to get through life supporting himself by making and selling furniture, also doing work that would seem impossible. He lived to be 75 years old. Dispite his handicap, he was considered an excellent carpenter and made cabinets, furniture and even a violin. He was the son of Daniel and Elizabeth Delaverne Robbennolt.
