Today was the diocese choir competition (Southern Ardeaconery level) held at St. Christophers Church, Johor Bahru.  We were warmly welcomed by the host Rev. Tom Cherian and his team.

This inaugural event was officially opened by Canon Batumalai who encouraged all leaders to nurture the choirs of the respective  church and to imagine developing this competition to higher standards such as the Vienna Boys choir. This is to give our best to glorify God with gifts He has endowed upon the children. He reminded everyone that with God, all things are possible.

The choir did their best and had a lot of fun but the eventual winners was St. Stephen Church, Yong Peng. We wish them more success as they compete at the Anglican Diocese Finals in St. Peters, Bangsar on 4th November 2006.

The kids were very happy they received a trophy for their effort. It was also the first time they wore t-shirts with new Mighty Kids logo.
