The Mighty Kids Christmas Party was wonderful and we welcomed about 50 new friends. Including our members and babies, there were about 80 kids aged 12 and below. Although it was difficult without electricity we started as planned at 2.30 pm but God was with us all the way as power resumed at 3.30 pm. The party ended just over 5.00 pm with generous compliments from our guests and church members.

On hindsight, it was amazing how parents and children alike stayed on although it was dark, hot and stuffy without air-conditioning. Our windows had been sealed permanently to reduce noise pollution for our neighbors sake. The party progressed as planned as volunteers did their roles splendidly with full commitment. From registration, ushers, musicians, actors, Santa Claus, and refreshments helpers, all went well. All glory to God!

We used 2 flashlights for the stage lighting and our performers had good and strong voices. What a relief it was when power resumed at 3.30 pm. The guests joined us in praising God with loud clapping and hallelujahs. Apparently, the power was supposed to resume only after 7.00 pm. It was certainly a good test of our faith.
