At 293 cycles old, Utu Noranti Pralatong still considers herself young, and carries a great deal of spirit. She is another intellectually evolved individual, with medicinal skills that earn her the title "Utu" meaning doctor. Her memory is less than perfect however, thanks to her age, and she is prone to forgetting important details, causing much frustration on her part, and often getting the rest of the crew into more trouble. Perhaps her most powerful skill though comes from her third eye, allowing her to see other realities beyond the one they occupy, as well as many other things that most people do not see or even know about.

She first arrives on Moya at the end of Season 3, picked up after the destruction of the command carrier in Wolf In Sheep's Clothing. Her part in the next episode Bad Timing is fairly important though as she reveals to Crichton that Aeryn is pregnant. She then stays aboard Moya during Season 4 playing the role of doctor, and generally irritating everybody. She does have her useful moments though, distracting guards in Lava's A Many Splendored Thing for example, but most of the time, her determination to do what she thinks is right can get others hurt (for example encouraging Crichton to jump off a cliff in Sacrifice.
