My  Friend LaNae
LaNae was  the  kind of person that always found  the  good  in you  and brought  it out. She had a way  about her that made you smile  just to think about her.  Her  laugh  was infectious .
I met LaNae, Lonnie to me,  in 1961, in Sacramento,Ca., where we both worked for Maw Bell..
My, my  what  fun we did  have  together,
We parted ways  but still stayed in touch .
She married Ted and we sort of  lost track of each other. I  married  Mac. So  both LaNae and I were on our way  to making a merry grown  up life. LOL :-)  yea  right -- NOT!!
Our  first  two  children, Brian and Kelly,  were  born  just twelve  hours  apart.  We  neither one  knew  the other  was  pregnant even.
Over  the years  we  remained  friends, even though  we seldom  got to visit  with each other .
LaNae  was  the kind of person  you could be apart from  for  ten  years  and get  together with  for  five minutes,  and you  felt  like you had never  been apart, no matter  how long it had been.
God  chose to take her home  and add her sweet smile and bubbley personality to  the Masters bouquet. For he had other plans,  for  the rest of us, left behind that did  not include her.  Yes we all miss her greatly, but our memories  of her will  always  be with us.  We  could never wish her back,  to suffer again,  as she did the last  few years with the cancer.
I know she is an angel in heaven  watching over each of us. So weep  no  more  for her,  for she is in a far  better place and she lives, with us in our memories for the rest of  our days .
So  we must  get on  with our lives and as the song  says~~~  we sang  together in the sunshine  now we must be on our way.
LaNae  we love you and miss you and  always will!!
