There were alot of reasons for Brutal splitting up, the main being Thor leaving the band after the incident with the women's group. Brutal Dave got sick of playing grindcore and is now pursuing new musical directions, and Father Time got tired of doing harsh vocals and playing Death Metal. The band itself however is still going; strangly enough. Like a ghost band. It will be interesting to hear what happens with that.
