In this series opener, Sam and his mother move to Ocean Park from Kansas. Violet introduces Sam to the kids, hoping they'll hit it off. Sam turns out to be a natural goalie, and has a lot to offer the group, besides.

1B. DOWN THE DRAIN- Sounds/Screenshots

The Stimpletons entrust Reggie to watch their pool while they're away. The kids decide to drain it to make an awesome skating bowl, accidentally filling up Ray's basement in the process. 2A. SECRET SPOT- Sounds/Screenshots

When Ocean Shores is overrun with "shoobies" (tourists in sneakers and tube socks), Ray lets the gang travel to his secret surf spot, provided they never reveal its location. They manage to convince the older kids to go to a lousy beach and enjoy the spot themselves only after Twister owns up to what he did.

2B. ICE QUEENS

Twisters cousin, Clio, accompanies the group to Mt. Baldy for the annual "Winterfest." She's an ice dancer and a girly-girl who at first seems to have little in common with the hockey-playing Reggie. They clash, then ultimately decide to switch places: Clio, in disguise, helps them win their ice hockey game, while Reggie uses her aggressive style to captivate the judges in the ice dancing competition.

3B. NIGHT PROWLERS - Sounds/Screenshots

Even though they know it's wrong, the kids agree to a midnight street hockey challenge with Lars, Sputz, and Pi on the night that Merv is stalking-out a pool-hopper. The kids get caught, and so does the pool-hopper, who turns out to be a skinny-dipping Violet.

4A. HAPPY LUAU TO YOU-AU - Sounds/Screenshots

When Otto gets the group kicked out of Madtown, Reggie's birthday party plans a re ruined. Violet plans an incredibly lame shindig--complete with polka music and pickled pigs' feet--that Otto and the boys have to somehow make hip in time to make up for his mistake. It becomes a blowout Reggie will never forget!

4B. ROCKET RESCUE - Sounds/Screenshots

When Sam and Twister have to go to Junior Lifeguard class, Reggie and Otto think their friends are a couple of "Sea Weenies." While Reggie comes around to the idea, Otto still thinks lifeguards are lame until he needs Sam and Twister's help to save a drowning Tito. It turns out Tito was only testing them, and they pass with flying colors.

5A. TWISTER'S CUZ

Twister has to look after his cousin, little Scotty, the same day that the new Human Sky Torpedo ride opens at the amusement park on the pier. Twister sneaks Scotty out, then loses him in the crowd. 7A. POWERGIRL SURFERS

Otto is offered the chance to be on the cover of "Gnarly Surf" magazine--as long as Reggie stays out of the picture. Otto tries out the newest attraction at Madtown, but a videotape editing error causes everyone in Ocean Shores to think Sam is the rollerblading expert. 8B. TOTAL LUGER

For the first time in their friendship, Twister is able to beat Otto in a competition: street luge. Otto can't accept that he's not the best at something, and, in a bad de cision, cheats to win the contest. Even though he's pressured by Reggie and Sam, it's Otto's guilt that makes him own up to what he did and set things right with Twister.

9A. D IS FOR DAD - Sounds/Screenshots

Just as Ray is about to take the kids away for a surfing trip, Otto gets a bad grade in school and is not allowed to go. Otto's ego gets the best of him when he tries to pull off the Super McVarial 900--a new move that Sam swears cannot be done. Otto learns his limitations when he blows the move, and realizes he could have won without it.

10B. LOSS OF SQUID

The kids' friendship with Sam is tested when he hooks up with a computer geek named Oliver. Thinking he has more in common with Oliver, Sam doesn't show up for a game. The rain keeps Reggie from training for the Junior Triathlon, so she joins in some kitchen-destroying mayhem with Otto and Twister. 13A. THE NIGHT BEFORE

Otto, Sam and Twister agree to sneak out with Eddie, Prince of the Netherworld, for mischief night. They go because all the older boys do it, but once they get out there, they realize that vandalism is totally uncool. 14A. FALL & RISE OF SAM

Otto and Twister look down on boogie boarding, so Sam feels left out of the group because he doesn't know how to surf. However, Tito confides that he was just as bad as Sam, giving him the courage to finally get up and ride.

14B. THYPHOID SAM

The other kids blame Sam for giving them the flu and keeping them from playing a crucial street hockey game and making the playoffs. Sam takes it on himself to put a substitute team together to keep their playoff hopes alive, and in the process learns that he's become quite a good player in his own right.

15A. THE WRATH OF DON

The kids flip out when the new "Skateworld" movie starts filming at Madtown. 15B. SAFTEY PATROL SAM

When Sam is forced into being on safety patrol, he abuses his new position of power. He's no worse than Otto, Reggie, and Twister, however, who assume that they can get away with anything now that their friend is enforcing the rules. In the end it's Sam's knowledge of the rules that ends up getting everyone out of a jam and bringing the group back together.

16A. REGGIE & A NET

Reggie will do anything to make the beach volley ball team with her friends Tri sh and Sherry. Her desire and self-confidence help her give a spectacular performance in tryouts--only she demonstrates that she isn't much of a team player in the process. 16B. GREAT SANDCASTLE RACE

Sam rises to Oliver's challenge that nobody can beat his team in the annual Ocean Shores Sandcastle competition. Inspired by the idea of having a day off and missing the assembly, Otto declares his own "snow day" and convinces Sam to ditch school with him. They soon find that their snow day isn't nearly as fun as the real thing, since they can't do anything they planned on because there's a chance of getting caught. They think they found the perfect place for a snow day at the empty amusement park, until they get trapped on the rollercoaster and spotted on the TV news. After they get busted, Sam and Otto learn their lesson, while Twister and Reggie are surprised that the assembly turns out to be the best one t hey've ever had.

20B. WELCOME TO THE CLUB

Otto, Reggie, Twister, and Sam go crazy when Ray receives a one-week trial pass to the exclusive Ocean Shores Beach Club. At first glance, the club looks like the paradise they've envisioned--great sports facilities, a huge pool, and an endless buffet. They soon find out, however, that Ray was right--everything the kids consi der fun is against the club's stuffy rules. It's not long before they figure out that they belong on the other side of the gate, and head back to their beach for family-surf with Ray and Tito.
