Summary: Die Nomad gerät in einen schrecklichen Sturm, der Bryn dazu bringt sich wieder zu erinnern. Als die Crew an Land geht, wird Bryn wieder von ihrer Vergangenheit heimgesucht.

The crew sailed in a terrible storm which came out of nowhere. It was hard to keep the ship in control. The gigantic waves flooded the ship and pulled everything with them. It was Rongar's duty to hold the tiller together with another seaman. All the others were needed to save the ship. Bryn tried to concentrate on her work but she got a terrible headache. In her mind she saw another storm and another ship. Suddenly she felt so weak that she couln't stand any longer. Sinbad saw this, and told Firouz to bring her below deck.

It was one of the most appalling storms they've ever experienced. Finaly when the storm was over, the crew had some repairs to do and Doubar take turns of Rongar at the tiller. Taim stood near him an looked up into the sky, which was now blue and clear again.

Doubar recognized, that she was looking for Dermott again.  "You're really to much in sorrow of this hawk."

"I've many reasons for that," she respond and was quiet for a long while. "Have you ever experienced such a terrible storm?"

"It's a long time ago that we sailed through such a thunderstorm. I guess there was a similar storm in the night when Maeve disapeared. That time Sinbad went mad."

"He never speaks about that. What has really happened?" Taim sadly wanted to know.

"We sailed through the storm. Waves were as high as the ship. Maeve couldn't hold any longer and felt over board. Sinbad tried to save her, but he couldn't see her any longer. Sinbad wouldn't loose her. He followed her and jumped into the floods and finaly he also disappeared. We could find him on an island, where we met Bryn. Sinbad wouldn't gave up hope to find Maeve there, too. But she was vanished. Later we get a message from Dim Dim. He told us she is all right and well with him untill she can master her powers. Sinbad never talked about that, because that hurt too much and he gave up his hope to find them.

"Both are more than just friends, Doubar, aren't they?"

"They are, no doubt. But both were to stuborn to admit that to themselves."

After Firouz talked to Bryn below deck, he walked to the tiller. He wanted to talk to Sinbad and the others.

"Firouz, how is she?" Sinbad wantet to know.

"That's why I need to talk to you. It seams that the storm last knight woke up some of her memories. It's very hard for her, because she don't know exactly the meaning of these pictures. But I'm sure from now on she will remember more by the time."

In this moment Bryn came on deck. She was still dazed, but she tried to smile and walked to the others.

"How do you feel?" Sinbad wanted to know.

"I've got terrible headache. And after all I feel a little bit strange."

"Firouz said you can remember something."

"Yes. It has to do with the storm last night. I was on a ship, but it was not the Nomad. I was very concerned, not because of the storm. There was something else. On the ship there were strange men and many guards. I felt like a prissoner but they respected me. And then I just remember how the ship crashed on a big rock and sank. I woke up on Caimans island. The rest of the story you already know."

Suddenly they heard a loud crash and a seeman called: "Captain Sinbad! The mast of the sail is broken."

Sinbad swung himself the ropes up to see how big the damage is.

"Firouz, we really have to go into a habour. The mast wouldn't hold any longer. Is any habour near?"

Firouz looked into his cards: "Northeast there must be land."

"Well, Doubar! Course northeast."

After more than twelf houres they reached the coast. Bryn stood at the rail and watched confused to the beach.

"How are you Bryn?" Firouz wanted to know.

"I don't know. I think I already know this island."

Firouz taped her on the shoulder. "You are very muddled, Bryn. Try to relax and let the things happen!"

The crew arrived at the beach with the longboat and started to look for a village. After they walked a while, they stoped.

"I have no save feeling here, Sinbad. I suppose we are observed."

Hardly Bryn said that when they were shell with arrows. They tried to take cover behind some rocks, but Sinbad knew the only chance they had was to surrender.

He laid his sword and than they were captured.

"That is no good reception."

"Oh please, Sinbad," Taim said. "What have you expected? You are a stranger. Don't you know how many villages were robed and distroyed by seemen like you?"

On the way to the village, Bryn felt very bad and weak. When they arrived there, an old man came to them. He wanted to see the straingers, but then he sah Bryn.

"By Alah. That's not possible. Oh Bryn! You are alive."

The crew was confused, but Bryn seemedto know this man. Carefully she said: "Arcir!" And then she get fainted. The man shouted:

"Hurry! We have to bring her in my house. And let the strangers free! I supposed they are her friends."

Firouz jostled to Bryn. "I'll come with you. I'm a doctor."

"Who are you?" the man asked.

"My name is Firouz and this is captain Sinbad."

"What's a matter with her?"

"I guess she can remember her past."

Most of the time Firouz stayed with Bryn. When he came out of the house the crew and Arcir sat on a table. Firouz walked to them.

"Bryn is well of. She wants to be alone for a while. She's walking around, now."

Doubar was worried about her. "Is it a good idea that she's alone now?"

"She is not alone," Taim said. "Dermott wanted to join her."

"Firouz, I wanna thank you for your help. And Sinbad, I wanna thank you for bringing her back home.  Although she can't remember why she belongs here."

"Arcir, please don't tell her anything about her past. She would get confuse. You must have patience until she can remember everything alone." Arcir was agreed. "I have to talk to you about something else. I would please you to tell us about her past. It would helps a lot."

"Well, it's a long story. Bryns mother was a witch. Her father was a powerful and cruel sovereighn.  They told Bryn to be greedy for power and unscrupulous and her mother teached her in magic. But Bryn wasn't like that. She has always been wild and brave. In a terrible battle her father died and her mother disapeared on a strange way. Bryn grew up in this village. She used to play with boys and learned to fight. One day she met Andres. He was young and fresh, but also clever and very brave,
and he knew how to use a sword."

Doubar smiled because that reminds him at Sinbad.

"Andres fell in love with Bryn. But there was an evil sovereighn from another country, called Tallon, who should join the war. He was obsessed with Bryn from the first moment he saw her. Andres had to join the war too. He didn't return for a very long time and Tallon told her that Andres died. Bryn didn't knew that this was a lie. Then Tallon threatend to attack our villages with his worriors when Bryn wouldn't become his wife. Bryn was so despaired that she consent to marry him. Some guards and
other men should join her on a big ship to her fiance to the other country, but in this night, there was a terrible storm and the ship sank. We all thought Bryn died. When Andres returned and heard that she died he swor Tallon to kill him one day. But Tallon hasn't return yet."

"Do you know where we can find Andres?" Doubar asked.

"I don't know. I haven't seen him for a long time."

"Somebody ahs to tell her that Andres is alive."

Rongar pointed with his finger on Sinbad and everybody looked at him expectant. "Why do you look at me?" he asked shocked. But when Rongar pointed on his rainbowbond he understood why.

He found Bryn on the beach. She sat on a rock together with Dermott. Sinbad took place beside her, but he didn't say a word untill Bryn started to say:

"It's not easy to be here again, with all the memories."

"Arcir told us your story and he told us something you don't know. After your disappearance, Andres returned. He isn't dead. That was a lie. And Tallon wasn't here again, since you was gone."

Bryn buried her face in her hands. She don't wanted to say anything. Sinbad layed his hand on her shoulder and said.

"Bryn, I know how hard this must be for you, but you know, if you need our help, we'll be there for you of course. We will, wouldn't we Dermott?" He cheeped.

"And now lets go back to the others!"

When they came into the village, there were several black knights on horses. Bryn had a terrible feeling and she was right. This knights belong to Tallon. He was back. The inhabitants were surrounded from his men especially Sinbad's crew. Before they could tell him what has happened, Tallon came on his hourse. Everybody, exapt the Nomad crew bowed to him. Even Bryn sank her eyes and bowed, though she didn't want to. Tallom got from his hourse. He walked to Bryn and toughed her cheek.

"Bryn! Welcome back! I cannot tell you how glad I am to see you well up. I thought the most beautiful princess died. But, well! I see you are fine. I want to invite you to a dinner tomorrow. I hope you'll come." Bryn tried to hide her dislike and hate. "Thank you, Lord, that you were so concerned about me. But I must think about your invitation. Maybe I has to do something else."

Tallon got on his horse again. Then he looked at Sinbad. "Look, the famous captain Sinbad brought back my princess. Your welcome here, too, as long as you don't make any trouble."

He smiled at Bryn, and then he and his guards rode away and Sinbad said to Rongar: "I don't like this man!"

Bryn stood alone and tears were in her eyes. Sinbad tried wanted to say something but he didn't knew what. "Sorry Sinbad! I need some time just for me now," she said and walked away.

The next day Bryn wanted to ride to Tallon for dinner. His guards was waiting for her outside the village. When Firouz saw what she was going to do he tried to stop her. "Bryn! You should stay here.  Don't go!"

"I have no choice Firouz!"

"It's to dangerous to go alone with these man."

"It's saver to go alone. I'll be back soon." She swang herself on her hourse and rode away.

When she entered Tallon's tin, there was a table with a prerared dinner and candellight. Tallon was waiting for her and let her took place. Bryn felt very insecure and she knew what Tallon was planing. They talked about some stupid things, but after dinner Tallon began to speak abou the past. "I heard you lost your memories. But now you can remember again, I hope. I'm sure you haven't forgot that you was going to become my wife."

"I thought this would have changed now."

"Some things will never change, my dear. My offer is sill the same."

Bryn stood up. She was a little bit afrait. "I'm sure you'll let me some time to think about."

"Of course my dear."

"Thank you," she said and left his tin.

Late in the afternoon a man on a hourse arrived the village. Sinbad was the first who saw him. They looked at eachother but they didn't say anything. Both were distrustful and let their hands on their swords. "I wanna talk to Arcir," the man said. "Is he home?"

"He is," Sinbad answered. "Who are you?"

"Why should I tell you that?"

Then Arcir came out of his house. He welcomed the man and introduced him to Sinbad. "This is Andres," he said. Sinbad was so estonished that he didn't know what to say. Andres realised that something was wrong so he said: "Arcir! Tell me what's a matter! And why is this man here?"

"He and his friends are here with Bryn."

Andres looked confused at Arcir then at Sinbad. He couldn't believe that. "Where is she? I wanna see her!"

Bryn was at the beach and watched the ocean. Andres knew that she would be there, but he still couldn't believe it. He slowly walked to her, but she didn't recogniced him. He wispered her name and suddenly she turned around. She stood up and he took her in his arms.

They spend the rest of the day together at the beach. When it was late at night they went back to the village.

"Arcir told me you haven't be here for a long time. Why did you come back?"

"I heard that Tallon has returned. I wanna kill him. And then I thought that there must be a reason for his comeback. I had a assumption, but I thought you are...."

"But I'm not," Bryn said and kissed him. "But you are right, Andres. Tallon is here becouse of me. I was for dinner with him today."

"What!" He wanted to say more but then they saw fire in the village. when they arived there, they saw the knights of Tallon. Sinbad and the others was fighting with them. When they saw Bryn they stoped and rode away. Nobody was hurt and they could stop the fire.

"That was a symbol," Sinbad said. "Tallon want to force you to marry him."

"And I have no choice."

The next day Sinbad sat together with his crew. "We can't allow Bryn to marry this man," Sinbad said.

"What do you suggest, little brother?" Doubar asked. "You saw these knights of Tallon, yesterday. When Bryn don't marry him, these men will attack the village again. They are too strong for normal men. And who knows how many guards Tallon has."

Sinbad watched at Rongar, but he argued. Then Arcir entered the room and asked Sinbad and Doubar for helping him. "We're comming," he answered. When Arcir was gone he said: "Firouz, Taim and Rongar I want you to go to the camp of Tallon. Find out how many men he has. Maybe I'll get a plan. But be carefully!"

Firouz, Rongar and Taim were hide behind some bushes near the camp. "It is stupid to go in a Tallon's camp and count his men. We should prepare us for an attack," Taim said stressed.

"We must find their weeknesses, Taim!" Rongar knocked Taim on the shoulder and pointed on Tallon and his guards.

"This are not more men then they who attacked us yesterday." Firouz recogniced.

"They are cold." Rongar looked at Taim confused when she said that, but she was immersed in her mind.

After some minutes they went back and Firouz spoke all the time. "We don't have to be afrait that Tallon has more men than we saw yesterday, but nevertheless I think they could be a problem for us."

Suddenly they stood before three of Tallon's knights. Firouz, Taim and Ronger stood still and watched them supprised and a little bit affrait. They didn't move untill the men walked slowly foreward and they walked backward. Taim was the first who took her sword and went to the knights.

"Time to fight!"

But that wasn't easy. They were very strong. After some time Firouz could cut the head. But then he was so supprised. Rongar could stab the sword through the stomach of the knight, but he saw the same. "That's not possible," Firouz said. Rongar went to Taim to help her. When he cut the head, the knight felt down. Rongar folded up the helmet. There was nothing but the armour.

"He's dead," Taim said supprised.

And Firouz said: "They don't exist."

When Andres found him she was alone. "I won't allow that you do this, Bryn! I will kill him."

"Andres, you don't understand. He will attack this village again and again. There's no other way to avoid these fights."

"I love you and I will fight for you."

Bryn took him in his arms again and sais: "Oh please, don't do that!"

Tallon was on the way to the village with his guards, when Firouz and the others arived again. "Did you find something out?" Sinbad asked.

"These guards are dead," Firouz said hectic. "There's nothing inside these armours."

"They are comming," Arcir said.

Bryn wanted to go but Sinbad took her arm.

"Do do that Bryn. We can fight these creature. All we need is your magic." Bryn looked at Andres, then she nodded and walked to Tallon who arrived the village.

"Ah, Prinzess!" he said. "I hope you don't misunderstood these small incident with my guards."

"Why are you here?"

"I think you had enough time to think about my question." Suddenly he saw Andres coming. "She will not marry you, Tallon!" Tallon was so angree about that. He asked Bryn: "Are you sure that this is the right decision?"

"Yes. I'll fight for it if it's necesarry."

"If you wish!" He turned around and rode away and his knights started to attack them. Bryn used her magic as far as she could but that made her week and while the crew fought, followed Andres Tallon.  He could catch him and they began to fight.

Sinbad and the other could defend the knights after a long and hard fight. Some were hurt and Firouz cared for the wounds. Bryn was waiting for Andres. She was really in sorrow. But then she saw him on his horse comming to the village and she ran into his arms.

The Nomand and the crew was ready to continue their journey. Now they were at the beach to saygoodbye. Arcir and Andres was waiting with them at the beach. "I will miss the adventures." Bryn said and hug Firouz, Doubar and Rongar. Then she walked to Taim. Dermott was sitting on her arm. She stroke his feather. "Bye Dermott. I will miss you."

Sinbad was the last. "I wish you and Andres just the best," Sinbad said.

"And may you find what you are looking for, Sinbad."

She hug him and then both take their hands and the rainbowbond glowed for a moment. Then they put the longboat into the water and rowed to the ship. Bryn took Andres hand and they stood togther and watched the Nomad set sail.
