    Wila D'Israeli, Mungomba, a Zambian lawyer and politician, was born on October 18, 1939 in Mbereshi. He married Eleanor Linda Jordan in 1969 and the two have two daughters. He was educated at Munali Secondary School, Makerere University in Uganda and Inner Temple in London. He has served as solicitor, Lusaka City Council 1968; Legal secretary at Zambia's Permanent Mission to UN 1969-70; legal practice 1971-1976; Member of Parliament 1971-78; Executive Director of IMF 1976-78; Senior Executive Officer, Standard Bank of Zambia 1979-80; Executive President and Chairman of African Development Bank 1980-85.
