Max is a big boy now... He's 10 weeks old. He's partially trained, he recognizes his collar and leash... basically, I have taken him for short walks now. Now Max weighs 4 1/4 kg. What a 2-month old puppy! I bet for his age and breed... This weight of his is just amazing!

He's been around the cemetary 2 days ago (November 1 is our All Soul's Day). He loves going into places. Actually, he loves being placed inside their doggy bag and just enjoy the view of the places they can imagine go when they are there! Recently, Max has been trained to understand the word "no". We often use this term when they chew on things they are not supposed to, when they do something that they shouldn't do. When he hears, "Max, no", he stops and look at me... then lays down his head to something or someone until he can revive that scolding away from his head.

What impressed me much about Max lately is when I started introducing him with his collar and leash. At first night, he just wanted it out of his neck! He kept on biting the leash thinking that maybe he could take it out from his neck. A day after that, I introduced it to him again... this time, outside the house. He ran around but noticed that there is restrictions to where he could ran. He would sit afar from me, with his leash on, and give that begging sound. On the third day of training... I gave him a walk after introducing him with the leash. He got tired after 10 minutes of walking around our block! I knew he was new to this so I headed him home and take the day as is.

Finally, on our fourth day of trial. He followed me just like a trained puppy! I was so happy! I kept on praising and praising him while walking... and guess what, he didn't disobey me one bit! When I walk and call him to walk, he walks! When he sniffs on something, i let him for awhile then call back his attention again. This was the 1st time I didn't have any problem training him... at last!
