Is the most important Czech spa with a 600-year-long tradition.
It has 12 springs used for balneological purposes. The best-known among them
is called VNdlo (Geyser) with a temperature of 72.2�Celsius.
Indication: Disorders of the liver and gall bladder and diseases of the stomach and intestines. Some hotels offer complex relaxation programmes and slimming cures.

CITY: JACHYMOV

It is located on the southern slopes of the Ore mountains 20 km from the most famous spa Karlovy Vary at the altitude of 650 m, in an area which is unlikely rich for minerals. The town was founded in the year 1516 and in the 17 century it was the second largest in the whole Bohemia.In the year 1912 Radium palace was opened
and was one of the best spa hotels in the Europe at that time. Jachymov become a spa resort of global importance.

The spa town is located in the north-west Bohemia, between the massif of the Kru�n� hory mountains
(Ore Mountains) and the picturesque hills of the Bohemian Middlemountains. The well known spa centre with great tradition belongs to the eldest European spas. At the time of its greatest development the prominent personages of dipolomacy, science and art used to meet there /Beethoven, Goethe, Chopin, etc.!
Many green parks, beautiful fountains, lakes, arbors and picturesque spa houses the city used to be called 'small Paris'.
