| It's hard to imagine any kind of a farm... hobby or otherwise without a few chickens running around. And we have about 30-40 of them. We have large "Leghorns" which lay beautiful store quality white eggs, little Japanese Bantams who are minature and have little stubby legs (like pictures on the right, above), and also a range of silkies, frizzles, and sizzles... chickens who look like a variety of puffballs! All in all, they're lots of fun and have lots of personality. And the answer is "Yes." If you spend the night, be prepared to be awakened at the crack of dawn by the crowing of roosters! |
