About Me

I was once a student at Texas State Technical College (but I have postponed that for an undisclosed amount of time), studying Digital Imaging. It includes everything that I love - web design, graphic design, 3d animation, sound editing, video editing, and desktop publishing. I still plan on finishing, just don't at the moment. At this rate I may end up in college with my daughters.

Music

I really enjoy all kinds of music but basically I like Industrial and 80's music. Some of my favorites bands/artists are: The Cure, Depeche Mode, Real Life, My Life With the Thrill Kill Kult, NIN, Leather Strip, Switchblade Symphony, New Order .......... among others.

Movies

Now this is my favorite hobby. If I'm not watching movies at home, or in the theatre, then I'm thinking about videos and films to work on. I like watching movies several times. You watch a movie the first time for the story. The other times it is to see all the details that you may have missed (or maybe it's to obsess about the piece of eye candy that's starring). These are some of my favorite movies (most of which I own): Bram Stroker's Dracula, Moulin Rouge, Donnie Darko, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles, Breakfast Club, The Lost Boys, A Clockwork Orange, Cruel Intentions, The Craft, The Crow, The Crow: City of Angels, The Crow:Salvation, Dazed and Confused, Edward Scissorhands, Beetlejuice, Labyrinth, Trainspotting, Hackers. The new movies aren't all that bad either but I just tend to watch older ones more. *RANT * - I am disappointed to have my movie collection greatly diminished thanks to: Mr. Mover of San Antonio, TX. As I moved from one place to another as I so frequently do, I hired the services of this moving company and I was totally ripped off . They took over 100 dvds that I owned. This has greatly discouraged me from buying movies again, there fore the video rental stores are making profits from me.

Television Shows "TV rots your brain"

Passions (NBC)- Well technically this is a soap opera but I've been watching it for years. The only thing I don't like is that they changed some of the characters and I really liked the original ones. I suppose my favorite drama all falls on Ethan Winthrop / Teresa Lopez-Fitzgerald. Is just like come on when will she finally get him. Ha Ha. The L Word (Showtime)- Let me tell you after watching this shows like 2 times I was completely hooked. This is about the lives of a few lesbian characters. You should check it out. My favorite is "Bette". She cheats on her girlfriend "Tina" and then is trying desperately to win her back. Queer as Folk (Showtime)- My favorite character in this show I would say is Brian, with his this is what it is no emotional bs attitude. He has balls let me tell you. They show a lot of guy/guy action and don't hold back too much. I also like the music they have on the show sometimes. Carnivale (HBO) - They just had the season finale and I am hoping that they will have another season. This is based on the 20's and it follows a carnivale that travels from town to town trying to stop some evil from bringing forth armageddeon. The ending left me hanging. Deadwood (HBO) - My husband first got me hooked on this. It's at a new settlement back in the "wild west" days. It has a lot of stories going on and once you find a character you like you'll be hooked. Charned (WB & TNT) - I love this show about 3 witch sisters that battle evil. My fav of course is Phoebe (Alyssa Milano). I like this show so much I bought the DVD when it came out.
