Conversation between two colleagues

Susan: ... Well, and then I hear about this fall i unemployment on the news and I suddenly start thinking about my uncle losing his job just this very week.
Emily: Yeah, I know what you mean. I heard that there's been a fall o 3.4 per cent over the past six months, but I just can't believe it with so many people out of work.
Susan: That's exactly my point. The government make it look like a s fall, but in reality it's just quite minimal, isn't it?
Emily: Indeed. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it turned out that the alleged f has just been a trick by the government to get people off their back.
Susan: Absolutely. A fall as m as 3.4 per cent must have been felt by common people too. Let's face it. We haven't seen any wonders lately, have we?
Emily: Alright, there's the supervisor coming. We'd better get down to work unless we want to end up in the unemployment statistics ourselves.
