DANIEL "OZ" OSBOURNE.

THIS IS NOT A SHIPPING SITE. WE SUPPORT EACH CHARACTER AS INDVIDUALS.

Why DOZ?

The reason why Dawn and Oz are linked together in the first place is because Mazzy and Cosmo1 formed an alliance. Mazzy is a big Oz lover and Cosmo1 is a big Dawn lover. They formed this alliance way back at the UPN Bronze linear site because they were getting into fights about Spike/anti-Spike. In his Anti-Spike rants, Cosmo1 would often post some bad Oz comments and Mazzy did not like that. So a deal was struck. Mazzy would help support Dawn for him, and Cosmo1 would support Oz for her. This would be done by defending the characters if they were ever bad-mouthed on the board and by posting positive affirmations of each. (for ex. "Don't Diss the Dawnie"). For a LONG time, the Doz squad was just Mazzy and Cosmo1, but recently the movement has grown. Cosmo1 has created official T-shirts that were given out to members at the recent NYCB meeting and the SSGinLA meeting.

Now Mazzy believes that Oz is cool and rarely is he seen bashed on the boards, but she wishes to keep his "memory" alive (so to speak), showing love for Oz, means maybe, just maybe, the character will not be forgotten and inspire the powers that be to bring him back to the show! Wishful thinking? Maybe, but what are we if not creatures with hope.

It's true that linkage of names usually implies a "ship" (or relationship), but in this case, it is for brevity and to give the movement a cool name.

POST SHOW UPDATE!

Well, Buffy is over *snif* Oz did NOT return,; Dawn wasn't given much to do in the last season. Are we, members of the Doz squad disappointed? Yeah, kind of. But, Dawn did have her moments, like in Conversations With Dead People. Oz, is but a faint memory, but was given a "SO" by Xander in "Potential". "Angel" still lives on, perhaps are dreams for Dawn And Oz will come to fruition on that show. Only time will tell! Doz will go on!
