Raised in New York City, Anastacia came from a entertainment-oriented family:her father was a singer,her mother an actress in musical theather on Broadway.
Despite being diagnosed with the chronic intestinal ilness Crohn's at age 13,she developed a career as dancer,appearing on Club MTV and in such music videos as Salt-N-Pepa's "Everybody Get Up" and :Twist And Shout" .
In 1999,she was a finalist on the MTV talent contest show the Cut,wich attracted the interest of record labels.
She signed to the Daylight cortum label of Sony Music's Epic Record's and recorded her debot album,Not That Kind,wich was released internationally in 2000.
The result was massive sucies;The album reached the top ten in eight European and far east countries,selling over two millions copies.
At home,the single "I'am Outta Love" became a dance hit,paving the way for the release of a revised version of "Not That Kind" in the U S A in march 2001.
A year later,she was creating a buzz in America.
She joined Mary J Blige,Cher,Shakira and others for VH 1's fifth annual Divas Live showcase in may 2002.
She made her proper American debut with freak of nature in june.

Leonard Norman Cohen was born in Montreal,Canada 1934.
His father,an engeneer who owned a clothing concern,died when Leonard was nine.
He went on to attend MsGill University,where at 17 he formed a Country-Western trio called
The Buckskins Boys .
He also began writing poetry and become part of the local bohe-literary scene .
After a brief stint at Columbia University in New York,Leonard Cohen obtaint a grant and was
able to escape the confines of North America.
He traveled thoughout Europe and eventually settled on the Greek Island of Hijdra,where he shared his life with marianne Jenson and her son Axel.
Cohen stayed in Greece on and off for seven years..

           GRAHAM BONNET - "TRYING TO SAY GOODBYE" -
                                "i CAN'T SEE NOBODY".

Graham was born 23nd december ,1947 in Skegness,Lincolnsher,England.
Before he became know as one of The Marbles and recorded a.o. some Bee Gees compositions
he recorded a Neil Sedaka song in the early seventies as well.
In this edition of covers you can hear that composition called: "Trying To Say Goodbye" written by Neil Sedaka and Phil Cody in 1972 and recorded in 1973 by Graham Bonnet and produced by Maurice Gibb and Billie Lawrie,(Mo's brother in law).

JERRY G - "GIVE ME THE HIGTH" - "MORE THAN A WOMAN".

During one of his gigs Jerry G met three times winning eurovision legend
Johny Logan,who was so impressed by the voise of Jerry and his perormance,that he gave him a song to record.
Jerry took Johny's song ,"Give me the night" and made it into a beautyful
breathtaking balled,that touched anybady who heart it.
"He took the song to a higher level and make it better than I ever imagined it could be",were the words of the proud Irish writer during an interview
on national television.
Immediately the song got a lot of attention in the media and crashed in to the Dutch chartswhere it landed on 28.
Also the musicvideo to "Give Me The Night" was shown on music-channels for over five months.
He also appears Qquite some Dutch tvshows like:RTL Boulevard,nationale postcodeloterij and lijn4 on the RTL4 channel.
Now it was importent to have a good successor for this wonderful debut.
Jerry went into the studio of his record-label and game out with the smashing remake of the
Bee Gees hit-song "More Than a Woman".
There was made a video ,that was to seen on TMF and MTV music channels .
His single "More Than a Woman" was a smash hit in Danmark it wend to no 2 in the chart there.
Jerry started to corporate with DJ Rob Stenders of the Dutch station Yorin FM in june 2004 by singing the well know jingle for the station : Let Them Entertain You.
