Michiko had a lot of fun making this film for the most part. It was originally a Sibelle Hu vehicle and started turning into a hybrid heroic bloodshed - god of gamblers rip off. Not a bad film for the most part.

Michiko plays a mainlander hired by Sibelle as a waitress for her casino. Michiko has a couple of good fight scenes, but the high point is her battle against her own student (pictured below).

It would seem that Michiko and Sibelle would have reminisced over their previous work together. But, unfortunately, Sibelle (who was also a producer on the film) did not have the time for such frivolity. As it was, Michiko considered the film a good experience and enjoyed the cast and crew immensely.

Once again, Michiko had to supply her own wardrobe, except for her waitress uniform.

On the gossip side, Michiko's student became a bit of a prima donna during the filming of the climatic fight scene. This cause for some serious re-working of the fight scenes. Michiko has not spoken with her student since, and to my knowledge the young lady has not appeared in any other film.

The film was financed in the Philippines and filmed both there and in Taiwan. As the film was on such a tight schedule, the producers could not afford one of their stars getting injured. Michiko was doubled extensively during some of the more aggressive acrobatic moves. The action director,  Chui Faat, wanted a much more intensive and close quarter style of  acrobatic combat. This, and the growing squabble between Michiko and her student caused Chui Faat to double for Michiko himself during some of the more close contact, acrobatic scenes.
