Before the coming of the Khmer ruined temple, this was my favorite camp. Its centerpiece is a 15mm pig, produced by Falcon I think, who has been spitted on the ends of a couple straight pins and is roasting over a scratch-built fire. The encampment itself is cut from bass wood with air drying clay molded atop it. While the clay was still wet, I poked in these lead spears that I'd saved for years after replacing my Essex hoplites spears with piano wire. The tent is a purchased resin one from a set of three from J&T Miniatures. The camp followers are more from the Falcon pack, and the guard is an old Donnington Norman spearman.
Cruel it may be, but the sight of the piglet turning a bright pink over the fire always brings a smile to my face!
