Homeowner Forum and Committee Reports

Three homeowners were present to address the Board of Directors on issues and concerns about the community.  There was a Pool Committee Report and there was a question about the timing of when the new proposed pool rules will be sent out.  The new pool rules will be sent out with the July Newsletter.  There was a report that the street cleanup at Lenox and Duvall went very well, it took an hour to clean up. 

 

 

Consent Calendar

The minutes and the financial statements were pulled off of the Consent Calendar.  Management will send the Board an electronic copy of the minutes to be reviewed and approved with an action went on a meeting.  The financial statements were pulled off the Consent Calendar because the Board instructed Management to get more information before approving these.

 

 

Motor Courtyard Parking

Many homeowners have been parking in the motor courtyards, in front of their garages.  This is in direct violation of the CC&R’s.  The Board discussed the definition of “parking”.  The Board would like to table the discussion on motor courtyard parking until the next meeting.  This item is tabled.

 

 

Officers

At the May meeting, an Advisory Board was approved.  Members of the Advisory Board would not be able to attend Executive Session as this is only allowed for Directors and Officers.  Each officer so appointed shall have the title, hold office for the period, and have the authority to perform the duties specified in the bylaws as determined from time to time by the Board.  This item was tabled for the next meeting. 

 

 

Selection of Pool Vendor

Motion:            Mansukhani

Second:            Uranga

 

Resolution:  The Board contracted Cool Pool Service for their new pool maintenance vendor.  A new vendor was selected because Aqua Pool Service decided to terminate the contract with Mission Park Homeowners Association.  Management was instructed to gain more bids for pool service in order to get the most competitive price.  In the mean time, Cool Pool Service will be maintaining Mission Park Homeowners Association pool.
