Holly Meacham (Strandberg), a Colorado resident since 1986, is thrilled
to be in her sixth year of teaching here at Mitchell High School. Holly is
a 1994 Widefield graduate and received her Bachelors of Music Education,
Instrumental Emphasis, from the University of Northern Colorado in
1999. She received her Masters of Education this last June from the
University of Phoenix. Holly Completed her student teaching in District 11 under
the guidance of Bill Callen at Holmes Middle School and Richard Kusk
at Coronado High School. Holly has studied with Ms. Roxanne Bates, Dr.
Richard Mayne, Dr, Ken Singleton, Craig Kirchoff, Dr. Anna Hamre, Ms.
Barbara Barnett, and Mrs. Michele Massey. Holly is currently the director
of Mitchell's Chamber Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band,
and Marching Band. In addition to her present commitments, Holly is the
Music Department Chairperson and is also a staff member of the Colorado
Ambassadors of Music.
