| Things I remember from De La Salle:
1) Kev pacing up and down in the maths class, telling us about masturbation: "...you know, some married people even do it...." 2) Also relating to Kev (he made a big impression, and not only the stripey ones on our butts): "Do your parents practice skidding in their cars? Every driver should, you know, you never know when you might need that skill" 3) Bro Thomas, Bro John, Bro Lawrence - all extremely memorable people. Remember the severe red-faced look that we used to get from Bro Thomas when he interrupted someone's class to deal with some grave issue (like the occasion when some boys had "stolen" cars, one of which had become slightly damaged 4) Under 13 rugby B-team - getting whipped at up to 72-0 - and Paul Olden handing out garlic capsules to everyone in the scrum before the game. |
