Work experience in Indiana providing soil technical assistance to 17 field offices in east central Indiana. Member of the Soil Survey Project team. Member of the Similar/Dissimilar work groups. B.S. (1991) in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Purdue University. Now working in Spooner, Wisconsin.

Project Leader for Central Indiana, Soil Scientist.

Responsible for management, quality assurance and coordination of all soils activities for 32 counties within the Central Indiana MLRA Soil Survey Project Service Area, including the mapping, data collection and analysis, database maintenance, taxonomic and map unit descriptions, correlations, special studies, Official Series Descriptions, soil interpretations, and mapping efforts associated with the updating of soil survey subsets within the Central Indiana MLRA Soil Survey Project Service Area.

Work experience: soil mapping in 17 counties throughout Iowa. Soil Survey Project Leader for Montgomery, Monona, Woodbury and Crawford counties in Iowa. Project Leader MLRA 107 in Iowa. Member of the Indiana and Iowa Professional Soil Classifiers.

Education: BS (1969) Agronomy, Southern University and A and M College, MS (1997) Soil Science, Iowa State University of Science and Technology.


Now working as an MLRA 11 Soil Data Quality Specialist in Indianapolis.
