amenmodem - moduloscillator

Download (23.9 MB) Music Online Archive is proud to present the debut release of Bloomington, Indiana based computer scientist and sonic sculptor amenmodem. Walking on a three way tight rope between digital decimation, post-dancefloor grooves, and pure avantgarde experimentalism, the artist shatters preconcieved notions of music and assaults the listener with a continuous aural onslaught of fractured rhythms and warped waveforms. Constructed using a combination of analogue tape techniques and a custom built Max/MSP software developed in autumn of 2010 (from which the works title is derived), moduloscillator breaks new ground and bends new minds alike. (Released 1/18/2013)

#1 - Viaje Sónico - Música para MAXIMUM MISCHIEF

Viaje Sónico - Música para MAXIMUM MISCHIEF

Download (96.0 MB) Viaje Sónico made his psyched out debut "Viaje Sónico con Terence McKenna" more than 1 year ago on sister label Música Arriba and remained silent since then.....UNTIL NOW!!! This debut full length album from Viaje Sónico features 3 songs in it, 2 around 20 minutes sandwiching the little song minecraft.exe in the middle. In these songs he seemlingly endlessly loops samples to hypnotic effect with lush pads and alien chords bringing the listener into unknown psychic realms. The tracks are dedicated to "MAXIMUM MISCHIEF", a person the artist says is a big inspiration in the his work. Guaranteed to be a real "sonic trip"!!! (Released 10/24/2011)
