Bridge Builder

This lab teaches you how to use the bridge building program. It tells you if your bridge works, and what ratio of efficiency each of the sticks has. Learning about bridges and how to place the sticks is good phisics. If you can get a bridge to work on the program, you should build the same design with spaghetti to see if it really works. The program is only 2-D which is somewhat unrealistic. But you can get the side configuration to a maximum amout of efficiency, and then learn what makes a 3-D bridge stand.

This is my spaghetti bridge. I built it with the idea that all the outside sticks would be pushed out, and the the sticks on the sides would hold in the outside sticks, making the bridge as strong as possible. This bridge held 61 ounces.
